Day 1 (22/2 2010):
We had to get up at around 4am to catch the flight in time. The flight took about 3 hours where I slept most of the time. We arrived in Rome just before 10am and then took the bus to town where we decided to go eating. Most of us ate pasta and a few pizza. Both were great. We left the bags at the station so I only brought my camera. We walked around for a while before we had to catch the train to Maccarese. Jacqueline asked almost every person she saw about the stop, and after a while we arrived at the station where we met our host families. My family is really great! They are so kind all the time and Francesco speaks very good English, though his parents doesn't speak at all. Anyway, we got home and immediately left for the mall. It's like the second biggest mall in Europe, and it's really huge! We met other students from other countries and their hosts and just walked around, had dinner, went bowling and then home. I took a shower and then went straight to bed. I was REALLY tired after the very long, but very awesome day!

Day 2 (23/2 2010):
Today was Sara's birthday so at the mall last night we bought her a present, which she loved!

So the day started at 6.30 am (too early, haha) where I got up, got dressed and had breakfast. The breakfast was very different from ours. They had croissant looking things, chocolate, biscuits and so on. More like our coffee breaks, haha. But I had a little for breakfast before we went to the bus to get to school. It took about 40 minutes and when we finally arrived we got to go with them to class. If you think that we behave "badly", it's nothing like in Italy, haha. They are very noisy and everyone talks at once. I don't know if it's only now that we are here or if they're always like this. Well, we went to school, had classes, a few presentations from the countries and a small concert by some Italian students, and then we went to Rome and the Vatican city. The weather was really great, and on the train station in Maccarese we sunbathed! Just sat there in our tanktops enjoying life. Rome was great too! We went to see the St Peter's Church where the Pope lives next door. It was amazing! I have never seen such splendor in my life.

We also went shopping in Rome. I found myself a bag and Sara and Lovisa were running in and out of stores like maniacs, haha. I think the like to shop. The shopping had to be pretty quick so we could catch the train back. Since it was Sara's birthday we wanted to celebrate her properly by going to a restaurant. I actually had pizza, and it was really tasty! Since we'd never had pizza with nutella, they ordered that for us but it didn't taste very well. Though I believe Henrik has another opinion about that.

So that's our second day. After dinner we just walked around before we got home. I got to bed at 12.30 am so guess if it was difficult to get out of bed on our third day!

Day 3 (24/2 2010):
Day three is not over yet but there's still much to tell. We were supposed to be at school at 8.15 for our presentation about our rooms. When we arrive we aren't allowed to go inside because the bell hadn't rung yet, so we had to wait outside. Then the teachers were late, then everything's just crazy, and the presentation that was going to start at 8.15 started at 8.50, haha.

After the presentation was finally over we went to the gym and we got to try archery. I did really bad..... so let's change the subject! The food around here is very special. The have coffe breaks where they serve biscuits, cookies, cake and so on, and then some class and after that lunch. They usually bring their own food but when weìre here we get lunch. Yesterday it was sandwhich with fried something and tomatoes, and we were shocked because to us that is no proper lunch. Today though, we had ravioli, flat, large meatballs and fries. They also served wine to the lunch and since it's an age limit of 16 to drink alcohol in Italy no one care if the students had a glass.

Lunch was really good today, but afterwards we had to wait. Again. There's a lot of waiting in Italy. LOTS. But at the same time as it's boring it's also a good time to socialize and meet new people! So, we waited... but when the waiting was done we took the bus to a nature reserve in Fuimicino where we got to by horse (not horseback riding though) around and see many beautiful trees and the lake. It was really great. Everything is so green around here. It's almost like summer, or late spring. I love it!

As you notice, I'm sitting here writing at the moment, but soon we will have dinner and then we will go to Claudio, one of the Italian boys, to watch a movie. We do everything in a big group and it's very fun! When I get home, everyone will get sick of me at once! I've got so much to tell that I will talk your ears off, haha.

But now I have to go. Hope cold Sweden is well!
See you soon, bye!
